Recently hired LSU Tigers head coach Lane Kiffin brought a past prediction from Chef Elizabeth Heiskell regarding his future with Ole Miss to light on X.
Born and raised in the Mississippi Delta, Elizabeth is a big fan of the Ole Miss Rebels. She appeared for an interview on The Paul Finebaum Show to share that Kiffin was not leaving Oxford, and if he does, she promised to “strip down b*tt naked and will run around the Oxford Square.” At the time, Kiffin was emerging as the leading candidate for the job at LSU and Florida.
“Think y’all have a whole lot more interesting things to discuss than Lane Kiffin leaving Ole Miss,” Elizabeth said. “You are wasting your time. You are wasting your breath. Mark my words, he is not leaving. And I’ll tell you right now, if he does leave us, I will strip down b*tt naked and I will run around the Oxford Square. There you go. I said it, and I will. That’s how confident I am that he is staying and we will see him next year. Man, you now have me hoping he leaves.”

Lane Kiffin Departs Ole Miss, Accepts LSU Job in Shock Move
Just one day after Ole Miss’ 39-19 victory in the Egg Bowl, Lane Kiffin shocked the college football circles by taking the head coach job with the LSU Tigers. He led the Rebels to an 11-1 regular season, and even though he wished to lead the Rebels in the College Football Playoff, he was denied by the Ole Miss athletic director.
Kiffin has reportedly signed a seven year, $91 million contract, making him one of college football’s highest-paid head coaches.
With the Rebels likely a part of the College Football Playoff, they have announced that defensive coordinator Pete Golding will lead the program.
Meanwhile, Kiffin shared his gratitude for his tenure at Ole Miss, spanning six years. He wished the Rebels well and now looks forward to taking his new program in Baton Rouge to new heights.
