Just How Good Is Lamar Brown?

on3’s Cody Bellaire said that Brown “will add weight throughout his frame with ease and is one of the best big-man movers for his age I have ever seen with my own eyes. Whether it is on offense or defense, Brown showed why he garners so much attention when he shows up to an event.”

Brown is not the top lineman on the ESPN 300 list, though Zion Elee, a defensive end, is third, and Jackson Cantwell is fourth for an offensive lineman.

Elee has committed to Maryland already, while Cantwell and Brown have not decided on their college just yet.

Brown is the only one who has seen action on both sides of the ball, which makes him special. At 6’4″ and 275 pounds, he has the size that college coaches will want.

Bellaire went on to say that Brown “can overpower up front but was more impressive because of the blocking ability he has.”

Billy Tucker sent out a post on X with fire emojis, calling Brown a “freak of nature.”

Tucker also mentioned UA Next, the Under Armour All-American Game, and regional skills and development camps as opportunities for Brown to showcase his skills.

Top recruits from across the country compete against each other in this game.

    Brown’s Commitment List and Date

On Friday, March 7, Brown revealed that he has narrowed down his commitment list to four schools: LSU, Texas A&M, Florida State, and Miami.

His date for commitment will be July 4.

In addition to ranking on the ESPN 300, he is rated as the 31st prospect nationally and the No. 2 interior offensive lineman. Texas A&M has shown interest in him as a defender.

Brown participated in a June prospect camp in 2024 for the Aggies.
