LaJohntay Wester made a name for himself during his college career at Florida Atlantic University, where he played from 2020–23. He left as FAU’s all-time leading receiver with 252 catches for 2,703 yards and 21 touchdowns. He also added two rushing touchdowns and one punt-return touchdown. His junior season in 2023 was a breakout: 108 catches for 1,168 yards and eight touchdowns, earning him first-team All-AAC honors at receiver and on special teams, plus AAC special teams player of the year.

His strong résumé helped him get drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in 2025.
