In his first year with the Buffaloes after transferring from the Florida Atlantic Owls, Wester had 74 receptions for 931 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.
Wester is a good route runner and has strong hands, which allow him to make plays in almost any situation on the field. He is also extremely agile and quick, which allows him to create separation with ease.
Wester’s 2025 NFL Draft Projection
In College Sports Network’s latest 7-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft completed by Will Helms, Wester was selected No. 166 overall by the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles.
Despite being drafted by a winning franchise, this may not be the best scenario for Wester. The Eagles are a run-heavy team and already have two elite, No. 1 wide receivers on the offensive unit.
A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith are both cornerstones of the Eagles roster and do not appear to be leaving the team any time soon. As a result, landing in a situation like this one may not be the best thing for Wester’s growth and development in the NFL.
