The NCAA football transfer portal for the spring 2025 window officially ended on April 25. During those 10 days, the Georgia Bulldogs football team was reportedly looking for someone to strengthen their offensive line in preparation for the upcoming 2025-26 college football season.
Head coach Kirby Smart had already added some strength through the transfer portal, bringing in players like Josh McCray and Elo Modozie. However, Smart was reportedly still looking for one last addition. It seems like the wait is finally over, as he has picked Altclaire Flynn Jr., a former four-star recruit.

Flynn Jr., a Georgia native and former four-star recruit, is heading back home as he joins the Bulldogs for the 2025 season. He brings four years of eligibility and is expected to add depth to Georgia’s offensive line, especially at the center position.

This transfer is part of Georgia’s plan to strengthen its roster after losing key players to the NFL.
In high school, Flynn was ranked as one of the top offensive linemen in Georgia. Although Georgia showed strong interest during his recruitment, Flynn initially chose UCF.
Offensive line coach Stacy Searels, who had built a relationship with him during his time at Grayson High School, played a key role in bringing him back when the Georgia native entered the transfer portal.
At UCF, Flynn spent his freshman season as the team’s third-string center. Frustrated with limited playing time, he entered the portal to seek new opportunities. Now, he has the chance to make an impact at the powerhouse program in his home state.

Flynn is the fourth player Georgia has added through the spring transfer portal. With Coach Smart pairing Flynn with Sedrick Van Pran, the young star is expected to stand tall and bring much-needed versatility to Athens, with the ability to play both center and guard.
