The race for QB1 over at Cleveland continues to heat up at the Browns training camp as Shedeur Sanders, Joe Flacco, Dillon Gabriel and Kenny Pickett compete for that starting spot.
ESPN Cleveland has released each of their combined training camp stats, with Sanders leading in touchdowns with six and had no interceptions.

ESPN did note that Pickett was out last week due to a hamstring injury while Shedeur Sanders, the son of Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders, also missed one practice due to arm soreness. This did not stop Sanders from continuing to impress at Akron.
This new report has had fans talking, with many rooting for Sanders to be the Browns’ next QB1 for the 2025 season.
“Kenny and Gabriel both can go,” suggested one fan on X.
“Sanders is clearly QB1!” another wrote.
“Training camp stats are dumb. But start Sanders anyway 😅” added another fan.
“Just look how Gabriel was in Oklahoma & Oregon, compared to Shedeur stats. Its not even close. Gab had a great program set up, shedeur didnt. Shedeur is way way better than Gab., its not even for debate!!” one fan pointed out.
“Gabriel getting reps ahead of Sheduer is criminal,” said another fan.
However, fans of the other quarterbacks were also hyping their guys up.
“Man, if they don’t stop wasting time giving reps away to Dillon Gabriel. Flacco should start the season, and Shedeur should be QB2… bring him in at week 5 if they have a losing record with Flacco,” another fan suggested.
“Gabriel has proven himself out. Pickett has proven himself out. Sanders as the eventual starter should be getting all those reps by Monday,” said another person.
“100% starting Pickett. This is the Browns we are talking about,” a fan commented.
The race for the QB1 spot has not even started yet, though Shedeur Sanders fans have been questioning why Dillon Gabriel is getting more reps than Sanders.
