    Kalen DeBoer’s Daughter Alexis Reveals Desire of Working in Football With Latest Insight in Career

    Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer’s daughter Alexis took over Washington Husky Softball’s Instagram account to interact with fans, answering their queries regarding her future and her presence on the softball team.

    One follower asked what she is learning at the University of Washington. Alexis revealed that she wants to work in football in the future.

    “Major: Education in Sports. With the goal to work in football:),” Alexis wrote.

    She is planning to major in communications in University of Washington.

    DeBoer previously coached the Washington Huskies before taking over Nick Saban’s role at Alabama two years ago. He is renowed named in the football landscape and it seems Alexis has also taken a liking to the sport. That is why she wants to develop a career in the sport.

    Alexis DeBoer is the eldest daughter of Alabama coach and his wife, Nicole Tendler DeBoer. She also has a younger sister, Avery.

    In another Instagram story, she answered what makes Washington special:

    “The amazing people that are here! My teammates and coaches are seriously the best humans and I’m so grateful for them and their support.”

    Who is Kalen DeBoer’s daughter Alexis DeBoer?

    Alexis is a sophomore infielder for the Washington Huskies softball team, coming from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The Bellevue High School graduate started all 54 games in her freshman season, splitting time between first base, third base and designated player.

    She led the program in batting average (.358), hits (58), home runs (21), RBI (55) and slugging percentage (.815), while posting a .991 fielding percentage with 226 putouts, five assists and just two errors. She became only the second freshman in program history to hit 20 or more home runs. On top of that, she finished with 16 multi-hit games and 12 multi-RBI performances.

    In her first season with Washington, she was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year, First Team All-Big Ten, Big Ten All-Freshman Team, D1Softball First Team Freshman All-American, Softball America Freshman All-American and a spot as an NFCA Freshman of the Year Top 10 finalist. She was also named NFCA All-Mountain Region Second Team and an NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete.

    She is also a DECA state qualifier in Volleyball.
