Kalen DeBoer’s Daughter Alexis Drops Heartfelt Message With Nostalgic Memory As Alabama HC Turns 51

Kalen DeBoer, the head coach for the University of Alabama, celebrated his birthday as the Crimson Tide coach turned 51 on Friday.

DeBoer got a public and meaningful note from his daughter, Alexis DeBoer, who posted a heartfelt photo of her dad on her Instagram story that consisted of a collage of two photos that dated back to 2010.

The picture depicts a much younger Alexis, held by DeBoer when he coached at Southern Illinois. In one of the pictures, they are seen posing next to a birthday cake.

Alexis captioned her story, writing: “Happy birthday Dad. I love you ❤️”

While Kalen DeBoer is busy coaching the Alabama football team, Alexis stays in Seattle as a standout softball player for the Washington Huskies. Alexis took to the field her freshman season and hit the ground running and was named Big Ten Freshman of the year and was selected for All-American honors.

Alabama Climbs to No. 4 After Six Straight Wins

Currently, the Crimson Tide is the No. 4 ranked team in the country after winning six games on the trot after losing in the first week of the season to Florida State.

Alabama has four in a row vs. SEC ranked teams, including its last week’s game against Tennessee, which it won 37-20.

A large storyline has been the growth of quarterback, Ty Simpson, under the tutelage of Kalen DeBoer.

Simpson is now being considered a serious Heisman candidate and DeBoer has praised Simpson’s great attitude.

Even with the accolades and the No. 4 ranking, DeBoer has warned his team from becoming complacent as Alabama next faces South Carolina this Saturday.
