Joy Taylor did not hold back when Cam Newton asked her opinion on Jason Whitlock in their most recent discussion on Newton’s YouTube channel. The former Fox Sports host dished out a very direct opinion when asked about Whitlock.
“Every time someone brings up Jason Whitlock, I can’t believe he’s still with us,” Taylor said (01:45:15).
“I don’t think anything works harder than his cholesterol, if I’m being honest”, she further elaborated.
This back-and-forth occurred when Newton brought up that Whitlock had said things about him and Taylor in the past. Rather than dancing around, Taylor acknowledged the topic head-on.
Funnily enough, Taylor admitted she never actually watched Whitlock’s notorious comments about her. Even though she was a target of Whitlock’s crude comments, she admitted she knew about them through adjacent conversate.
“I’ve never watched this,” Taylor explained. “I am only aware of this from adjacent conversate. I did not watch a single second of this. So I don’t know what he said.”
The remarks Taylor cited originate from Whitlock’s discussion about his short time working with her at Fox Sports on a program.
“I mean I got a lot of discipline, but a 25-year-old with them big cans and that peanut butter skin who has nothing to say, at some point I’m going to lose respect. I don’t want to put myself in that position”, said the polarizing media figure back in January.
Jason Whitlock says he stayed away from FS1’s Joy Taylor because he knew what he was capable of:
“I know what I’m capable of…that big rack of hers that she showed off constantly.”

Whitlock had alleged that during his Fox Sports stint, he conducted a test show with Taylor, but thought it was unsuccessful. He claimed to have been opposed to co-hosting a show with a “young woman”, referring to Taylor, making crude comments about her appearance and her professionalism.

Joy Taylor’s Exit from Fox Sports After Nearly a Decade
In other news, Taylor underwent a significant transition in July 2025 when she exited Fox’s “Speak” after almost 10 years. Taylor’s contract was not renewed in a series of moves made by the network that included housecleaning a number of shows.
Since leaving Fox Sports, Taylor has had some time to reflect on her media career. On her podcast “Let Her Shoot,” she discussed the emotional transition of leaving the Fox Sports network after a nine-year tenure.
Taylor has also hinted at exciting future projects and careers, which may likely move away from traditional on-camera work. She has also expressed an interest in production and building platforms that support other content creators.
