When a football legend starts complimenting his girlfriend during interviews and calling her his muse, the world tunes in, when that girlfriend is a 24-year-old Jordon Hudson and he’s none other than 73-year-old Bill Belichick, the interest goes bonkers.
Ever since the UNC coach made it clear that Hudson helps him out with the business side of things so that he can focus on football, the headlines haven’t given the two a break. From simplifying X’s and O’s for his new book to interrupting viral interviews, Hudson no longer seems to be on the sidelines. And with every step the couple takes, the media seems to take ten more.
While Belichick seems to be on a journey to build the UNC team, off the field, Hudson is reportedly trying to win over Nantucket’s notoriously tight-knit social scene.

It just so happens that being an NFL legend doesn’t guarantee a seat at Nantucket’s most coveted garden parties. According to recent reports from People, the island’s crème de la crème is keeping its distance. And one of the reasons is Linda Holliday.

Linda Holliday is Belichick’s ex, and in Nantucket, she still reigns supreme.“Social and charitable residents of Nantucket live there for a reason,” a source told People. “They want to be around people like them… and are not interested in socializing with Jordon Hudson.” Unless Hudson suddenly becomes old money, significant influence, or besties with Linda, she will not get any access to the Sunday brunch.
The report goes on to paint a pretty frosty picture. One insider claimed many in the crowd are hypocrites, acting polite in person, but gossiping behind Hudson’s back. They see her as an “interloper,” a 24-year-old who’s thrown herself into the life of a man nearly 50 years older, whose social past is still very much present on this tiny island. But that’s not all.
There was a reported blow-up at the Dreamland Stroll Party as well. The same party that is DJ’d by Linda’s daughters. People reported that Holliday was “aggressive” toward Hudson, and that a “verbal incident” broke out between them in front of guests. “It was very uncomfortable,” said one witness. “There was a lot being exchanged between them.” That is not the kind of debut one wants in the Natucket circles.
But despite it all, Hudson and Belichick do not seem bothered. According to insiders, they focus more on their projects and maybe even wedding planning. Hudson’s reportedly been telling people they’re engaged, and Belichick’s boat, which was earlier named “VIII Rings,” is now changed.
The boat has now been renamed as “I + VIII Rings.” This comes right after the recent New York Times exposé that claimed that Hudson had told at least one person the two were engaged. To further fuel the fire, the exposé claimed Hudson derailed HBO’s plans to feature UNC on Hard Knocks.
According to the report, Hudson demanded content approval and partial ownership, which allegedly sent NFL Films packing. Belichick denies this, saying the series just didn’t fit. But the whispers continue, fueling the narrative that Hudson is more than just a supportive girlfriend.

As another source sums it up, “It may take Jordon a while to get involved with what she wants, but she certainly can. It would have to be done in her way and probably away from what Linda does.”
