Who Is Jordan Shipley’s Wife Sunny?

Jordan Shipley and Sunny met in Rotan, Texas, when they were just teenagers. He was a quarterback in the eighth-grade while Sunny was a ninth-grade cheerleader. They dated throughout their high school.

The couple got married on May 21, 2011, in Nashville. They share two sons and live together in Texas, where Jordon runs Shipley Ranches along with his brother.

Jordan’s wife developed a passion for songwriting in country and Texas music while attending South Plains College’s bluegrass and country music program in Levelland, Texas. Sunny studied music business at Belmont University in Nashville.

She has written songs and has collaborated with her husband on music projects. They worked together on a song called “Don’t Let Me Sink,” and the proceeds of the same were used to build clean water wells in Uganda. She has also co-written “Oh, Tonight” for the Josh Abbott Band, which hit No. 1 on the Texas Country charts and entered the Top 50 of Billboard’s Country Chart.

They welcomed their first son, Swayde Jordan Shipley, in March 2020 and then gave birth to Shield Fisher Shipley in April 2021. They have also started a brand named Swayde and Shield Co., which sells ranch-themed clothing and accessories. The couple have also engaged in projects like their coffee and ice cream shop in Burnet, Texas. Sunny’s creativity played a big role in shaping the design for the shop.

Jordan Shipley has a younger brother named Jaxon, who also played for the Longhorns as a wide receiver and then a brief stint in the NFL with the Cardinals. Jordan’s cousin Braden played baseball for the Kansas City Royals.
