The Green Bay Packers of Jordan Love had a difficult start to their 2025 preseason. They fell to the New York Jets 30-10 on Saturday at Lambeau Field. The most worrisome part of their game was the lackluster performance of their quarterback.
Love only recorded seven passing yards on Saturday, completing one of five passes he had in the encounter. One fan put it succinctly:
Jordan Love better play the whole game at this point

“Jordan Love better play the whole game at this point”
Other fans shared their thoughts about Love in the post:
“yea he needs the reps, he’s terrible,” wrote one.
“Not great look” said someone else.
“I know it’s preseason however we look like trash” said a worried person who thought Love wasn’t the only concern the Packers have
Some did defend Love’s performance.
“That is not his fault i know you seen the 3 drops,” pointed out one fan.
“I love the massive crash out over preseason game 1. This is where we want the rust and clunkiness,” claimed someone else.
“😂 nah after that sack let him sit. Ain’t risking this season because of a preseason game,” joked another inidividual.
“Love? nah Doubs and Heath need to play every snap and learn how to catch the ball,” said another.
Love has been with the Packers for five seasons now and has been the starter for the last two years. Last year, he only recorded 3,389 passing yards, with 25 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

NFL coach thinks Green Bay Packers’ Jordan Love can be easily rattled
An anonymous NFL coach spoke with The Athletic about Jordan Love and how it feels to face him. Suffice it to say, the coach in question doesn’t think the signal-caller is anything to write home about.
Notably, Love was positioned 13th in the The Athletic’s annual quarterback tiers rankings, prepared by Mike Sando. While evaluating Love, an NFL defensive coach told Sando:
“When we faced him last year, I felt like if you could get to him, you could rattle him. He distributes the ball, and they have big skill (players who are) tough to bring down. That is how he makes his hay. I do not watch him and think, ‘Oh, he is f–king people up.'”
