Jon Gruden Snubs Lane Kiffin’s Ole Miss In College Football Playoff Prediction, Claims Arch Manning’s Texas Can Get In On One Condition

With the college football playoffs just around the corner, one of the biggest storylines is whether Ole Miss will lose their well-deserved opportunity because of Lane Kiffin, who is rumored to be leaving the program despite their 10-1 record so far into the season.

Many analysts have expressed their frustration over the fact that the Rebels might get snubbed from the playoffs, as the committee might not hold them with the same credibility if they don’t have their head coach.

Talking about his 12 teams in the playoffs, ex Super Bowl champ, Jon Gruden said:

“First of all, after further review, we’re going to take the G5 champion, whoever it is, Tulane or James Madison, they’ve had a good year, and they’re going to play against the champion of the ACC. Whoever it is, Pitt, Georgia Tech, SMU, those teams have all had good years.” Gruden said.

After naming the other teams in his list, Gruden said that the Longhorns got to be in if they beat A&M, as the fans would want to see Arch Manning in the tournament, which drew some flak from Dave Portnoy.

“You’re just putting in guys you want to see because you like their last name, you were the one doing the Manning, oh, the whatever. But, I mean, Texas is no good.” Portnoy accused Gruden.

“Those are my 12. Okay. I lost count. Ohio State, Indiana, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, Georgia, Alabama, Oregon, Oklahoma, Miami, Vanderbilt, and I got Texas if they beat A&M.” Gruden concluded as he snubbed Ole Miss from the list.

Paul Finebaum Weighs In on Lane Kiffin’s Ole Miss Future

According to a report by Ross Dellenger, LSU has discussed a 7-year-long, nearly $90,000,000 deal for Lane Kiffin as they look to replace Brian Kelly weeks after his firing.

This deal would make Kiffin among the highest-paid coaches in the sport, along with that he is also allegedly promised a massive revenue share, roster investments that go over $25 million.

During his latest analysis on ‘McElroy and Cubelic in the Morning’, Paul Finebaum said that he believes Kiffin will be leaving Ole Miss by the end of next week, and his sources tell him that his next destination is rumored to be LSU right now.

“I had 10 people, as you guys did, tell me it’s LSU right now. The week before, it seemed like Florida.” Finebaum said.

Finebaum further said that if Kiffin decides to stay with the Rebels after this whole fiasco, it would be called a disservice as he humiliated his team during the process.
