The Tennessee Volunteers are gearing up for a crucial SEC contest against the Kentucky Wildcats away from home as they travel to Kroger Field in Lexington, Kentucky, for their week 9 matchup.

In the meantime, Tennessee Volunteers quarterback Joey Aguilar received pregame support from his girlfriend, Rylan Moffitt, who posted a cute outfit on her Instagram story in support of Volunteers.
Moffitt posted a close-up picture of her grey crewneck sweatshirt with “VOLS” stitched in orange and white letters.
A smaller photo within the original picture showed Moffitt wearing the cozy top. She also included a simple caption: “waking up on game day.” Moffitt also tagged the brand Linen and Lettering in the post.
Moffitt’s support comes after a stressful week for Tennessee and boyfriend Aguilar as he sustained a neck injury in last week’s game against Alabama. Tennessee ultimately fell to Alabama 37-20 in that contest.
Aguilar’s injury did raise serious concerns about his availability, however, head coach Josh Heupel put those fears to rest this week confirming that Aguilar has been cleared to play.
The coach said that Aguilar is “ready to go” against the Wildcats, which is welcome news for the Volunteers considering the quarterback’s vital role in the team’s offense.
The No. 17 ranked Volunteers currently sits with a 5-2 record so far this campaign.
Meanwhile, Joey Aguilar’s GF Rylan has become a familiar face for the Tennessee faithful as she is active on social media and often posts in encouragement for Aguilar and the team.
The couple are now known for their public appearances as their “game-day kiss” routine has gone viral. Joey and Rylan have been dating since 2023.
Rylan Moffitt is a college basketball player at the Division I level who is currently a part of the UNC Greensboro after playing for Appalachian State earlier.
Aguilar’s Breakout Season Places Him Among FBS Passing Leaders
Despite the recent injury, Aguilar has had a remarkable season so far. He ranks within the top 10 FBS quarterbacks in the country in total passing yards (1,948).
His consistent performances resulted in him being named to the watch list for the Manning Award, too.
Aguilar showed toughness even in the loss to Alabama. He threw for 268 passing yards prior to being injured. He threw for one touchdown and one interception.
