JJ Watt Demands Answers as Female Texans Fan Leaves Stadium Bloodied After Brutal Fight With Rams Fan

A Houston Texans fan wearing a JJ Watt jersey was removed from the team’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. The unidentified fan and a male companion were removed from the stands by security at SoFi Stadium. They seem to have gotten into a fight that got out of hand, as the female fan had a bloodied face from what looked like a broken nose.

Former Texans star JJ Watt saw a video reporting the incident and reacted to it on X, replying:

“Alright, I need the story. What the hell happened here?”

According to a fan who saw the incident, the pair was seen trash-talking throughout the encounter, and they got into a heated debate with Rams fans at one point of the encounter. The argument turned violent in the fourth quarter of the game:

“They were arguing for a good five minutes before the video started, so we were just surprised it took security so long to get there,” Said Brian Bowie, who recorded the incident. “Being that close to the edge of the handrail is crazy.”

The Texans would end up losing the encounter 14-9.

CJ Stroud thinks that the Houston Texans could’ve won the game

The encounter was a disappointment for the Texans, who were unable to find the end zone even once during the game. They only managed three field goals, all in the first half of the game. In the aftermath of the game, it was clear that quarterback CJ Stroud wasn’t proud of his team’s performance:

“That’s a really good defense, a really good team, but I definitely think we could have won,” Stroud said. “We didn’t deserve to win that game because we didn’t do the right things. When you come out in the NFL lollygagging and going through the motions, that kind of happens. I think we’ll be all right, but I think it’s a good wakeup call for us.”

Houston coach DeMeco Ryans seemed more apologetic in his postgame press conference, stating that the Texans have improved significantly in their game. He praised his team for protecting the ball and forcing two turnovers against the Rams.
