“Things To Do in Ohio? Leave”: When Jim Harbaugh’s Daughter Grace Harbaugh Mocked Ohio State Ahead of The Game

Los Angeles Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh once witnessed his daughter, Grace, take shots at a rival program of his former team. Back in November 2024, reposted by @Caracas5News on X/Twitter, Grace Harbaugh uploaded a photo of herself on her Instagram story wearing a hoodie that has a graphic that mocked the Ohio State Buckeyes in support of the Michigan Wolverines.

This is because the Wolverines were about to take on the Buckeyes for the final week of the 2024 college football regular season. Grace Harbaugh seemingly still pledges her allegiance to the Wolverines even after her father, coach Jim Harbaugh, has taken his coaching expertise to the NFL already. Jim Harbaugh previously coached Michigan for eight years, from 2015 to 2023, prior to his stint in the professional league.

“Things to do in Ohio? 1. Leave,” Grace Harbaugh’s pullover hoodie read with her captioning her upload, saying, “Y’all already know…GO BLUE BABY,” with blue and yellow heart emojis.

The Harbaughs have a long history with the University of Michigan program, as Jim Harbaugh both used to coach the team and played out his collegiate football career there. Hailed by many as one of the greatest to put on a Wolverines uniform, Harbaugh played out his five-year college tenure with Michigan from 1982 to 1986. He garnered accolades such as leading the team to the Pro Bowl win and being a Heisman Trophy finalist in his last year.

Still with the support of his loved ones, such as his daughter, Grace, Jim Harbaugh then went over to coach the Chargers for the 2024 NFL season for his first-ever crack at the pros. This ended his standout tenure as the main shot-caller for the Wolverines in 2023. In his first campaign in the league, Harbaugh led the Chargers to an overall record of 11-6, and was eliminated in the postseason in that year’s AFC Wild Card Playoffs.

The Michigan Wolverines Beat The Ohio State Buckeyes In The Last Week Of The 2024 Season

Fortunately for Grace Harbaugh, Jim Harbaugh and the rest of the Michigan Wolverines faithful, the 2024 Wolverines, now coached by Sherrone Moore, defeated the Ohio State Buckeyes in the aforementioned game. It was the final week of that year’s campaign, as Michigan toppled Ohio State by a tight three-point edge, 13-10, in away territory. The Wolverines went on to finish with an 8-5 record in their first year without Jim Harbaugh.
