2025 NFL Draft prospect and former Alabama Crimson Tide linebacker Jihaad Campbell appeared to solidify himself as a first-round prospect at the NFL Combine. He’s also looking to improve in another sport.

Jihaad Campbell is Chasing Perfection in Soccer
Campbell tested through the roof and thoroughly impressed NFL GMs, scouts, and analysts. While the former Alabama superstar has made a name for himself in the football world, it would appear that he wants to improve his soccer skills as well.
The NFL social media team did a rapid-fire interview with a bunch of NFL draft prospects at the Combine this year, with one of the questions being, “If you could master any skill or ability, what would you choose and why?”
Campbell had a surprising response to the questions, saying, “Soccer skills for sure.”

Campbell has already seemed to master the ability of playing Linebacker at a high level and it would seem that he wants to make the same reality true about his soccer ability.
When you look at Campbell’s combine performance, the idea of him mastering soccer doesn’t seem so far-fetched, as he is an absolute athletic freak.
The young linebacker tested through the roof at the NFL Combine, running a 4.52 forty, hitting a 1.6 10-yard split as well as posting a 10’7″ broad jump. Those scores might not drop your jaw at first, but when you add in the fact that he stands at 6’2″ and weighs 235 pounds you start to wrap your mind around just how athletic he is.
Campbell followed up his athletic testing by showing off his impressive footwork and smooth movement skills during the drills portion of the Linebacker testing.
If you ask me, Campbell’s height, weight, athleticism, and footwork would make him one of the most daunting and freakish players on the pitch of all time if he did master those soccer skills.
