The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and the Colorado Buffaloes have begun their respective 2025 campaigns against one another, and the game started hilariously for Georgia Tech. Yellow Jackets punt returner Eric Rivers wore a larger-than-usual slip-on jersey to the game. He was returning a punt when he got caught by Buffaloes’ tackler, Isaiah Hardge, and it was all thanks to that massive jersey he was wearing.
Hardge latched on to that comically large jersey Rivers was wearing, and it backfired on Georgia Tech, as the Yellow Jackets lost two yards on the play.

The hilarious moment involving the unusually large jersey soon had fans online talking.
“this sh** has me crying, Eric Rivers got on the biggest jersey of all time 😭😭😭,” one fan jested.
“So it’s easy to slip on over his jersey for special team – ridiculous too easy to grab,” another fan pointed out.
“Pancho jersey are disgusting 🫣,” another fan noted.
More people noticed that the extra jersey was easy to grab and made fun of it.
“Dude looked like he was wearing his older bro’s jersey. As soon as the camera showed him for the first time, I was like ‘the defender is going to drag him down by that extra jersey,'” added a fan.
“Come on now tech lol. That slip on jersey for a punt returner not gonna work,” noted another X user.
“Just cost them on that punt, tuck it in and maybe he gets a few yards on that,” another person pointed out.
Rivers is a transfer from FIU, where he wore No. 3, but since Ahmari Harvey already wears that number for GT, he had to change his number and had to wear that slip-on jersey with the No. 43. However, as that play showed, this decision backfired on the Yellow Jackets, which Deion Sanders’ squad took full advantage of.

Georgia Tech Vs. Colorado is Also Notable for Being Sponsored by Depend Undergarments
Aside from that early game hilarity involving an extremely large jersey, the Virginia Tech vs. Colorado game is also notable for being sponsored by Depend, which is making sure that Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders’ bladder problems stay in check.
Sanders survived a cancer scare with a tumor in his bladder, which has now caused him bladder issues. The Depend partnership includes the coach getting his own branded portable toilet at Folsom Field.
