Jeremiah Smith’s Short Social Media Response to Chip Kelly News

Smith had a stellar season under Kelly, racking up 1,315 yards and 15 touchdowns on 76 receptions.

Smith simply wrote the words “Nooooo” with a broken heart emoji.

The Las Vegas Raiders hired Kelly to be their offensive coordinator. He was previously the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers and a college head coach for the Oregon Ducks and the UCLA Bruins.

The Raiders recently made a splash by hiring former Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll. Las Vegas struggled last season, finishing fourth in the AFC West with a 4-13 record.

With a 29th-ranked offense in points scored, you have to think that Kelly, along with Carroll, instantly makes the Raiders better.

The Buckeyes offense averaged 35.7 points per game last season. That translated to a 14th-ranked unit nationally in scoring and 28th in total offense.

Ohio State’s defense was also ranked No. 1 in the nation. Defensive coordinator Jim Knowles left Ohio State for the same role with the Penn State Nittany Lions.

Weapons like Smith and Emeka Egbuka were part of the receiving corps, while Quinshon Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson patrolled the backfield.

QB Will Howard threw for over 4,000 yards and 35 touchdowns, adding another 226 yards and seven rushing TDs on the ground.
