“He’s So Gone”: Jeff Brohm’s Latest Comments Have Fans Convinced of Michigan Move

Louisville Cardinals football head coach Jeff Brohm was thought to be the top candidate for the Michigan job. The Wolverines fired head coach Sherrone Moore on Dec. 10 and ever since, they have been searching for a candidate while Biff Poggi performs duty in the interim.

Recently, Brohm was asked about his name being mentioned for the head coach role at Michigan. However, the Cardinals’ head coach declined to directly address the Michigan job speculation after Louisville’s Boca Raton Bowl win.

“Well I don’t speak on other jobs. I’m happy with this one and happy with the victory.”

This has fans convinced that Brohm will not get the Michigan job.

“He’s so gone lmao 🤣,” one fan commented.

    “He gone,” another added.

“Hes gone. And I really thought he was louisville in and out 🤣,” one fan reacted.

    “He gone,” one fan posted.

    “Cya,” one fan reacted.

“That was a terrible non answer. I’m not saying he’s leaving but bro we know your rep spoke to them. Come on now,” one fan wrote.

According to reports, Michigan officials have connected with Brohm’s camp, suggesting that he was being considered for the job.

Michigan insider reveals Jeff Brohm decision could come Wednesday

Michigan Wolverines interim head coach Bigg Poggi will be leading the program this Wednesday for the Citrus Bowl matchup against the Texas Longhorns. In the meantime, Michigan insider Sam Webb shared an update on development related to Jeff Brohm and said the Wolverines will soon name their head coach before the new year begins, as the program wants to make sure that the new coach gets enough time to talk with recruits and transfer portal potential players.

“I think you have to look at Jeff Brohm. Jeff Brohm from Louisville,he’s been a guy they’ve been vetting very thoroughly from the very beginning,” Webb said. “The search firm reached out to him, or at least reached out to his agent, already, and then they made direct contact yesterday.

“If you see things escalate quite rapidly here over the next couple of days, I think you could see Jeff Brohm shoot to the top of the list. If things don’t escalate rapidly in the next couple of days, I think you could really see that fizzle. And then you start to ask, ‘Okay, who else could really emerge?’”

It remains to be seen if Jeff Brohm’s latest remarks were just to keep everyone in ignorance or is he seriously not being considered for the job.
