The 2025 NFL Draft is upon us, and so is your need to be prepared for all of tomorrow’s stars. Dive into our spotlight on Jaylin Noel, featuring his scouting report, strengths and weaknesses, his recent draft projection, and where all the experts predict he could land.

Jaylin Noel’s NFL Draft Scouting Report
Jaylin Noel might be one of the most underrated WR prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft. He was productive right out of the gate at Iowa State but peaked with 81 catches for 1,194 yards and eight touchdowns in 2024.
Noel’s testing numbers at 5’10”, 194 pounds — a 4.39 40-yard dash, 41.5″ vertical, 11’2″ broad jump, 6.82 three-cone, and a bench press count of 23 — are elite across the board, and it’s reflective of a truly rare three-level skill set that Noel brings on tape.
Noel plays with supercharged energy in short areas, and he has the hyper-elite burst and speed to compound separation, threaten vertical, and extend short RAC passes for big gains.
A cherry on top is his catching reliability; he had just a 3.4% drop rate in 2024. If your offense needs a weapon, Noel can be that player.
Jaylin Noel’s NFL Draft Projection
In CSN’s 7-Round 2025 NFL Mock Draft from April 12, Noel landed in Round 2 with the 47th overall pick. James Fragoza has this to say:
Another Iowa State WR in the top 50? You’re damn right. Noel isn’t just a slot speedster—he can stop on a dime and generate separation at a consistent rate. His ability to explode off the line of scrimmage makes him a potential star next to Marvin Harrison Jr.
And in CSN’s recent 3-Round 2025 NFL Mock Draft, Brian Burden had this to say about Noel’s selection to the Green Bay Packers in Round 2 with the 54th pick:
Jaylin Noel would become the second Iowa State wide receiver off the board, and his production over four years in Ames warrants consideration. He had 245 catches for 2,855 yards and 18 touchdowns over four seasons, highlighted by his first 1,000-yard campaign in 2024.
Green Bay has a strong core of young receivers, but none have separated from the pack as the lead dog. Noel could put his name in the mix as well.
