The NFL Draft is heating up, and the Cleveland Browns have become the center of the hype after the recent episode of Pat McAfee Show. The Browns are juggling options with the No. 2 overall pick still to be secured. According to NFL Draft expert Daniel Jeremiah Browns, they may be ready to go the extra mile to secure Jaxson Dart.

Browns Eyeing Jaxson Dart According to NFL Draft Guru Jeremiah Brown
On a recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show on YouTube, Jeremiah shared his take on the draft’s early picks. He’s confident Miami’s Cam Ward is the likely No. 1 overall selection, headed to the Titans.
“Cam Ward feels very, very likely to go number one, and then I think all bets are off,” Jeremiah said. That leaves the Browns with a big decision at No. 2. “They’re going to take a quarterback with one of their first two picks,” he added.
But here’s where it gets interesting. Jeremiah hinted the Browns might not grab a quarterback right away. Instead, they could opt for Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter at No. 2.
Pairing him with Myles Garrett would create a defensive nightmare for opponents. If that happens, Jeremiah sees Cleveland making a move later. He predicts they’d trade back into the first round to snag the Ole Miss quarterback.
Dart’s stock has soared lately. His Pro Day is set for Friday, and the Browns will be there watching closely. Scouts love his quick thinking and pinpoint accuracy. He’s a Jalen Hurts-style playmaker with some cutthroat speed.
Cleveland’s front office has been tracking him since the Senior Bowl, where GM Andrew Berry praised his skills. The hype is real, and it’s reshaping the Browns’ draft strategy.

Meanwhile, Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders remains a strong contender for No. 2. His Pro Day is April 4, and he’s still high on Cleveland’s list. But if they pass on him early, Dart becomes the fallback plan.
The Browns are crisscrossing the country this week, scouting top quarterbacks like Louisville’s Tyler Shough and Ohio State’s Will Howard, too. They’ve got nine picks beyond No. 2, giving them much room to consider.
Jeremiah thinks the first three picks will set the tone. If Sanders slips past them, things could get wild. Teams might scramble to trade up, but the Browns seem ready to pounce on Dart. With the draft in Green Bay approaching, Cleveland’s moves could steal the show.
