After a season away from football, Bill Belichick is back in the game. This means that he is back in the public eye for both praise and scrutiny. His relationship with his girlfriend, Jordan Hudson, is also in the public eye, which draws more scrutiny to one of the greatest minds in football.
On a recent episode of his podcast, Jason Whitlock had a “harsh” take on Belichick’s viral beach photos that he took with Hudson while on a couples’ vacation. The images went straight to Twitter and caused a little bit of a strange reaction from his fans and haters alike. Here’s what Whitlock had to say about it.

Jason Whitlock’s Harsh Take on Bill Belichick’s Viral Beach Photos
“This is a mistake,” Whitlock said. “I keep going back over and over and over again. This isn’t going to work. This is going to be a massive flop. This guy, he’s lost his mind.”
Whitlock is a very respected sports journalist who has covered Bill Belichick for much of his career.
Whitlock has been skeptical in the past of Belichick, 72, and Hudson, 24, relationship. The age difference has set many people off and to feel weird about it, including Whitlock’s guest on the podcast this past week, Steve Kim.
“Can you imagine what the student sections are gonna do with that picture in college? Because it’s a different crowd,” Kim said. “That right there, I guarantee you, every ACC school student body has gone to Kinko’s and probably made thousands of those pictures.
“Bill Belichick, one of the tenets of the Patriot Way, Jason, was, ‘Don’t say anything or do anything that is bulletin board material.”
Kim went on to say he expressed concern about the students of UNC getting their hands on it.
“Jason, that’s the biggest bulletin board material I’ve ever seen a coach give to student bodies across the conference,” Kim said.

As the offseason really gets underway, the Tar Heels will be gearing up for next season under Belichick for the first time ever. While Belichick is one of the best minds in football, he also adds a lot of eyes to the product, whether for good or bad reasons.
While in Foxboro, Belichick finished with 17 AFC East division titles, 13 AFC Championship titles, and perhaps most impressive won six Super Bowls. Alongside Tom Brady, Belichick built a dynasty in New England and looks to do the same thing with UNC this upcoming season at the collegiate level.
