The 2025 NFL Draft is upon us, and so is your need to be prepared for all of tomorrow’s stars. Dive into our spotlight on Jared Wilson, featuring his scouting report, strengths and weaknesses, his recent draft projection, and where all the experts predict he could land.

Jared Wilson’s NFL Draft Scouting Report
Jared Wilson projects as a high-upside starter in the NFL. While he is still raw as just a one-year starting center, the three-star Bulldogs recruit has the athleticism and natural leverage to be one of the first pure center prospects off the board in the 2025 NFL Draft.
The 6’3”, 310-pound starter has a strong base and impressive hand usage while also possessing the fluid mobility to work in space. Despite his athleticism, his footwork can be a bit slow and plodding in pass protection, and overall, he’ll need to up his play pace to survive down in and down out at the NFL level.
But in the Day 2 range, Wilson’s elite physical upside and good baseline awareness is worth taking a gamble on.
Jared Wilson’s NFL Draft Projection
In CSN’s 7-Round 2025 NFL Mock Draft from April 12, Wilson landed in Round 3 with the 83rd overall pick. James Fragoza has this to say:
At the Combine, Jared Wilson moved with the agility of a tight end, but it’s his ability to clear traffic on the interior that really stands out. While a top-100 center might not be the flashiest pick, Wilson’s skill set makes him a valuable selection for bolstering the offensive line.
And in CSN’s recent 3-Round 2025 NFL Mock Draft, Brian Burden had this to say about Wilson’s selection to the Cincinnati Bengals in Round 3 with the 79th pick:
Wilson was one of the leaders of a line that again dominated play, getting the Bulldogs back to the College Football Playoff yet again. After appearing in 13 games and helping guide Georgia to nearly 500 yards of total offense per game, he earned second-team All-SEC honors while logging over 1,000 snaps. He has a solid, 6’3″, 310-pound frame.
Houston needed massive additions on the line and has done so in the first three rounds of this mock draft.
