Back in January, model Christen Harper, the wife of Detroit Lions star Jared Goff, was in Jamaica for the 2025 edition of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit issue, showing that even if she already has a kid, she can still rock a swimsuit. Months later, she has released some behind-the-scenes images on her Instagram stories from that Caribbean photoshoot.
She rocked several bikinis during her Jamaican photoshoot, including a one-piece where she was holding a duck. She also had a dark two-piece and a yellow and pink two-piece in that shoot. She even shared a photo of the one in the green and white striped bikini while holding a feathered friend.
“Always gonna find a friend,” she wrote in the caption, while holding a duck.
She stated that the shoot happened on January 28, 2025, which meant that she was still pregnant at that time. She gave birth to her and Goff’s first child together, daughter Romy Isabelle, in July 2025.
Christen married the Detroit Lions star in 2024, but before that, she was a swimsuit model who was a “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Swim Search” finalist in 2021, making the final 15 and was selected to be one of the six models to appear in the next swimsuit issue at that time.
She was also an actress who did modelling so she could pay for her college tuition. However, she was also an actress and a former child actor, appearing in the 2004 short film “Seven Eleven” as a child, though she did appear in a few other films as an adult, including “Auggie” in 2019.
How Did Christen Harper Meet Football Star Jared Goff?
As Christen Harper was working her way up the industry, acting and modeling, Jared Goff was also making his way up his football career. This raises the question of how did they meet? The answer is a rather surprising one, as they met via a dating app.
To be specific, the two met on the private dating app called Raya, which is often used by celebrities but is membership-based and exclusive. This then led to their relationship, which began in 2019, eventually leading to them getting engaged in 2022, before marrying one another in 2024.
She has remained supportive of Goff, even after moving to Detroit despite her burgeoning career in LA, after he was traded to the Lions. Here, she has formed a strong kinship with the wives of other Detroit players, saying it was much different over there than in California. Her modelling career has continued and she has even stayed as a swimsuit model, pregnant or not.
