Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers were in Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, also known as Owen Field or The Palace on the Prairie, to play the Oklahoma Sooners in their Week 4 college football game.
One would assume Freeze to be busy pre-game in strategizing and motivating players. However, with her daughter Madison Freeze in attendance, he had to perform the duties of being a girl dad.
On Sunday, Madison posted a short clip where she asks her father to capture her in different poses on the field. Freeze was holding the camera incorrectly, so Madison instructed her to do it correctly before going back to her position and posing in her stylish one-piece outfit.
“business had to be handled! War Eagle!” Madison wrote in the caption.

After snapping her daughter, Hugh Freeze’s Auburn kicked off their game against Oklahoma. The game was close as both teams were tied 10-10 entering halftime. In the second half, Oklahoma exploded for 14 points as opposed to the Tigers’ seven points only. As a result, Freeze’s program lost the game 24-17. This was Auburn’s first loss of the season, after they won their first three games against Baylor, South Alabama and Ball State.
Hugh Freeze shares heartfelt message on daughter Madison’s birthday
Madison is the youngest of the three daughters of Hugh Freeze and his wife, Jill. Her sisters are Jordan and Ragan. She has been an ardent supporter of Freeze and even took a jibe at college football analyst Paul Finebaum for taking shots at her father.
Last year, Freeze celebrated Madison’s birthday with a heartwarming post, including photos of the father-daughter duo alongside an heartfelt caption, which read:
“Madison. You have made me smile and laugh through the years more than anyone I know. You are beautiful inside and out and will always be my Sunshine!! Happy Birthday baby girl!!”

Freeze tied the knot with Jill in July 1992. The couple first met at the University of Southern Mississippi. Their elder daughter, Ragan Freeze, is married to Ryan Reynolds. Their middle daughter is married to Mark McManus. She graduated from Liberty University.
