Understanding the Structure of Day 2 in the 2025 NFL Draft

As it pertains to the second day of the draft, there is a lot of key information that fans need to know going in. How will it all work?

Starting with the timing of the draft, it will kick off at 7 p.m. ET on the networks of ESPN 2 and the NFL Network. There will also be two rounds this evening instead of one, unlike Thursday night.

Teams are set to have an estimated seven minutes to make their pick as opposed to the full 10 in the first round.

The Cleveland Browns are set to start the night off at pick No. 33 overall, with the New York Giants and Tennessee Titans right behind them in the order.

Plenty of Talent Still Left On the NFL Draft Board

As insider Adam Schefter recently noted, there is still plenty of talent and skill left on the board as the start of the second round nears.

The slide of Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders has continued as he has fallen into the second round after some believed he would go early on in the first round.

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe is also still sitting on the board after falling into the second round.

Michigan shutdown cornerback Will Johnson was believed to be one of the best cornerbacks in the draft, and he is still out there, too.

A couple of 1,000-yard Ohio State running backs in TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins could be the next couple of players at that position to be selected. Of course, FBS sack leader Mike Green is waiting for his name to be called, as well.
