Offensive Tackle Prospect Weighing SEC’s Florida, Georgia Among 5 Schools

One of the most sought-after high school football recruits due to his stature and playing ability has announced his final list of schools. Chancellor Campbell, hailing from St. Petersburg, Florida, shared with On3 his final list of schools he plans to pick from for the 2026 season. According to reporter Hayes Fawcett, among the five is the University of Florida.

The other schools that Campbell has on his list in addition to Florida, is fellow Southeastern Conference school Georgia, reigning College Football Playoff Champion Ohio State, Colorado, and Penn State.

Campbell clocks in at 6’8″ and 305 pounds with a 7’2″ wingspan, and plays for Lakewood High School. On his X account, Campbell has already shared that he’s received an offer from Colorado.

Florida has made no secret of wanting Campbell for their offensive line – the three-star recruit is set to make his official visit to Gainesville in June, according to Hail Florida Hail. He’s also been described as a “must-get” by On3’s Corey Bender for their Florida coverage.

The Gators currently have only two verbal commits for their 2026 season. That trip will be followed by visits to Ohio State and Penn State.

Campbell is viewed as a player who could anchor an offensive line, given time and more focus on his footwork.

It’s noted that he’s not afraid to drive opposing tacklers into the ground, and can hold his own against those opposing players when they attempt spin moves and other manuevers to get around him.
