It is never too early to look at the Heisman odds for the 2025 college football season, especially if you are a fan of Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning.

Current Heisman Odds Lean in Arch Manning’s Favor
According to the latest Heisman odds from DraftKings, Manning, who will be taking over as the starter for the Longhorns next season after Quinn Ewers decided to go to the NFL, is the current Heisman favorite at +700.
This is not surprising, considering Manning’s talent and what he showed when he got playing time in 2024.
In 10 games played, he completed 67.8% of his passes for 939 yards and nine touchdowns.
Behind Manning in odds are LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier, Penn State quarterback Drew Allar, and Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik. Nussmeier threw for 29 touchdowns and over 4,000 yards last season for the Tigers.
Allar guided Penn State to the semifinals of the College Football Playoff. Also, Klubnik threw for 3,639 yards and 36 touchdowns while helping his team reach the College Football Playoff.
Much like the MVP in the NFL, the Heisman could be a quarterback award once again in 2025.
Manning Could Bring Texas Back
Yes, the Longhorns are back as national title contenders.
But they are still looking to win a national title for the first time since 2005, when Vince Young made magic happen.
If Manning could accomplish the unthinkable by winning both the Heisman and a national title, he would be remembered forever around the university. He would also continue the trend of great Manning quarterbacks in the SEC.

Arch’s uncles, Peyton and Eli Manning, went on to become some of the best college and NFL quarterbacks in history. But for him to make it known that he is capable of being great, he has to put together a great season for head coach Steve Sarkisian and Co.
The Longhorns’ season will kick off against the Ohio State Buckeyes on the road in Columbus this August.
Time will tell to see if No. 16 in burnt orange can deliver on the hype and bring the Longhorns back to ultimate greatness once again.
