Haley Cavinder Outfit: A Look at Jake Ferguson’s Fiancée’s Stunning All Black Fit for Cowboys-Eagles Matchup

The Dallas Cowboys may have lost after their comeback bid against the Philadelphia Eagles fizzled out, but former Miami women’s basketball star Haley Cavinder will always support her fiancé, Jake Ferguson. The social media influencer showed off an all-black outfit with a black tank top and black pants with the number 87, which is Ferguson’s jersey number, ahead of the NFL season opener.

“Let’s Go 87,” she wrote on Instagram.

She was there with her sister, Hanna Cavinder, and was part of the NFL Kickoff show as they cheered for Ferguson and the Cowboys. However, the hometown Philly fans outshone them that day as the defending Super Bowl champions staved off a massive comeback push from the Cowboys in the 4th quarter, 24-20.

During that game, both of them were wearing outfits in support of the Dallas Cowboys, with Hanna wearing the Cowboys’ iconic star logo on her top.

Despite the loss, Cavinder made it clear that she would be supporting her man this season, no matter what, as she bravely wore a Cowboys outfit to Philadelphia, which is Dallas’ most bitter rival in the NFL.

She and Ferguson met in 2013, when he was just starting his NFL career while she was still hooping for the University of Miami. The two announced their engagement last April, though no exact wedding date has been made public yet.

As for their basketball careers, the twins have decided to go full-time on being social media influencers instead of furthering it and going to the WNBA. They have continued their lucrative NIL deals they had back in college and are still using their social media platform to promote various brands.

How Did Jake Ferguson Do During the Season Opener Vs. Philadelphia Eagles?

As for how well her fiancé, Jake Ferguson, did as she and her twin sister were cheering for her, the veteran tight end had 23 receiving yards on five receptions. He did not score any touchdowns and averaged 4.6 yards per reception.

One of his highlights from the game was a one-handed catch from quarterback Dak Prescott for five yards, which earned the Cowboys some much-needed yardage late into the fourth quarter, as Dallas tried to rally. However, the Cowboys could not secure the victory soon after, as the Eagles’ defense held after such a closely-contested game.

Jake Furguson and the Cowboys will need to bounce back after that opening day loss against their heated rivals. They get their chance on Monday, Sept. 15, against the New York Giants.
