It is not often that an NFL player like Jonathan Owens is the less famous person in his relationship, but that is the case in his marriage to Simone Biles. Owens is a safety for the Chicago Bears and has had a strong career. However, Biles is the most famous gymnast of all time, winning seven Olympic Gold medals and 11 medals in total, across the 2016, 2020, and 2024 Olympic Games. She is also a 23-time World Championship gold medalist.
Despite her impressive list of accolades, Biles is still immensely supportive of her husband. She often attends his games, but this week she has a week off. The Bears are getting ready for a matchup with the Washington Commanders. However, they are on their bye week and will not compete this week. Their game against Washington is not until next week. As a result, Biles shared a snippet from Chicago on her Instagram story as she and her husband have a rare weekend off.

How Long Have Jonathan Owens and Simone Biles Been Together?
Jonathan Owens and Simone Biles officially met via the dating app Raya in March 2020, at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. Since both athletes had time off, they were able to spend a lot of time together. Owens spoke about this in a conversation with ‘Today.’
“It was one of the few times in Simone’s life where everything was just shut off and she couldn’t do anything,” Jonathan Owens said. “So we used it to get to know each other — really get to know each other. It created our bond and made it stronger. Now I’m so thankful.”
The couple then went Instagram official in August 2020. In the years since, they have shared several moments from their relationship on social media. They have both publicly supported each other in their athletic careers. The couple announced their engagement in February 2022. They then got married a little over a year later on April 22, 2023. The couple has been happily married ever since.
Jonathan Owens is in his second season with the Chicago Bears after previously playing for the Houston Texans and Green Bay Packers. He has eight tackles, including six solo efforts, in four games this season.
