    Sierra Ballard Responds To Fans After Viral Plea For New Job Role

    Sierra Ballard recently responded to her fans’ reaction to the gymnast’s plea for a new job role. Ballard concluded her collegiate gymnastics career after representing the LSU Tigers in her senior year in 2025. She contributed to the team’s efforts in winning their first-ever NCAA Championship title in 2024.

    During her super senior year, she competed in all faceoffs for the team. She recorded a career high of 9.950 points on the floor in the Podium Challenge in her fifth year. She also listed a season high of 9.950 points on beam and floor, and went on to receive the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the fifth time in her career. Following her remarkable collegiate career, Ballard was in pursuit of a new role. She expressed her urge to find a new job on live TV.

    One of Ballard’s fans, who appeared to be in amazement, made their feelings known about the gymnast’s authenticity and wrote on X:

    “Sierra Ballard asking for a job on live TV is so real.”

    To which Ballard responded without hesitation.

    “Yall. I need help.”

    The fan later added that while the former Tiger was previously working with SEC, she is now seeking new opportunities.

    “She’s working with them through June but said on the broadcast she’s looking for a new role after that,” the fan wrote

    While the LSU gymnastics team were trailing during the 2024 NCAA Championships final, Sierra Ballard was to compete first in the beam event. Having scored a memorable career high 9.95 score, she raised her teammates’ morale. In an interview with nola.com, she revealed about the moment when she decided to return to the Tigers squad for her super senior year.

    “We had some friends in town for a football game and were talking about how great LSU is, just this feeling about it,” Ballard said. “There’s nothing like it. I was selling the school to them, then I thought, ‘Why would I want to leave?’”

    “It was a pretty easy decision for me,” Ballard added. “I ended up recruiting myself actually. I decided that whatever we did at the end (of the 2024 season) I was committed to coming back.”

    She became the second LSU senior after Haleigh Bryant to avail her eligibility impacted by the pandemic in 2020.
