Former LSU Tigers gymnastics star Olivia Dunne has a new home to live in, and her boyfriend, Paul Skenes, is helping her put together the furniture, as seen on her social media. On Tuesday, Oct. 7, Dunne uploaded a time-lapse video on her Instagram story, showing herself and her boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Skenes, building a bed in Dunne’s new home in Jupiter, Florida.
The clip shows Dunne learning how to put together the bed as Skenes watches her right beside the furniture. Skenes then playfully helps out Dunne throughout the process. The couple is then seen smiling through the video in an act of playfulness as Dunne continues the process of moving in.
“POV: You’re just a girl trying to build a bed,” Dunne captioned.

While Dunne is busy setting up her new place, she is also supporting Skenes, as coach Don Kelly’s Pirates were unable to qualify for the 2025 MLB playoffs. This comes after Pittsburgh finished this year’s campaign with an overall record of 71-91. They lost their last set 1-4 to the Atlanta Braves in away territory, Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia, after winning the first two, 9-3 and 3-1.
This was Skenes’ second stint in the league after he was drafted with the first overall pick in the first round of the 2024 MLB Draft. As he prepares to reach the playoffs for the first time in his third year in the 2026 campaign, he will have the full support of his girlfriend, Dunne.

During her five-year tenure with the LSU gymnastics team, Dunne was a standout athlete who succeeded in the SEC and was even a part of the winning squad at the 2024 NCAA Women’s Gymnastics National Championship in Fort Worth, Texas.
