Olivia Dunne posted highlights from her first date night of 2026 with her boyfriend, Paul Skenes. Dunne’s previous year was marked by multiple memorable and heartwarming moments on and off the gymnastics mat.
After representing the LSU squad for five years, she announced her retirement in April 2025, following the program’s conclusion of its NCAA Championships journey. Since then, Dunne has frequently accompanied her beau to his MLB games. She was regularly seen giving the loudest cheers for the Pittsburgh Pirates’ pitcher.
Even after stepping away from the mat, the former LSU gymnast and social media star continued to amaze her fans with her pursuits in fashion and the media industry. Skenes also enjoyed a remarkable year. After having won the Rookie of the Year award in 2024, Skenes earned the National League Cy Young award in 2025.
As the couple welcomed the new year, Dunne shared a glimpse from their date on social media. She wore an off-shoulder shimmer black dress, paired with a watch. Skenes opted for a white t-shirt with a brown utility jacket. They both posed for a picture against a quirky background from the restaurant.

“Want To Show Other Girls That They Can Have It All” – Olivia Dunne Opens Up About Working for Female Collegiate Athletes To Secure NIL Deals
Olivia Dunne was one of the highest-paid female athletes during her collegiate journey. Even after concluding her gymnastics career, she continues to work to promote NIL opportunities for female athletes.
In an interview with Swimsuit.si, she emphasized that both female and male athletes work equally, and there should be fairness in payment too.
“I just want to show other girls that they can have it all, they can be a savvy businesswoman, they can capitalize on their NIL while still in college,” Dunne said. “Being at the forefront of NIL while still at LSU and while only being 20 years old, I hope that it shows other girls that they can do it, too. The collectives mostly go to men’s sports here at LSU, and I just want to fight for equal NIL opportunities. Women’s sports deserve the same publicity, we put in equal work, equal time in our facilities, and in school.”
Olivia Dunne launched the Livvy Fund to help collegiate female athletes to maximize their NIL opportunities.
