Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles turned heads off the mat after two promising campaigns in Summer Games. She won a silver at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and a gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics in team event.
Chiles landed on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit magazine in a bold royal blue two-piece from the brand Andi Bagus. She was photographed by Ben Horton at The Boca Raton hotel in Florida. The gymnast was one of the four cover models for SI’s 2025 Swimsuit issue.

During the photoshoot, Chiles explained a move “wolf-kino” she created to avoid a near fall off balance beam during the 2017 US Nationals, where she earned a silver medal.
“I did [the Wolf-Kino] back in 2017,” Chiles said via SI Swimsuit. “I so happened to do it on accident though, but I did train it after I competed it and it was pretty cool.”
During a beam routine in 2017, Chiles attempted a wolf turn (a spin on one leg, with the free leg bent). However, she over-rotated slightly but instead of falling, she recovered with a triple turn.
Jordan Chiles’ Reaction After Offer From Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Magazine
To land on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit magazine is a big deal for any woman athlete and model. Jordan Chiles, like many aspiring girls, also manifested to be feature in the SI Swimsuit magazine. In an interview with The Post, Chiles recalled what she told her friends over two years ago:
“I actually manifested Sports Illustrated about two and a half years ago when I was on a girls’ trip with my friends … [My friend] was just like, ‘Are you serious?’ And I said, ‘Watch, one day, I’m going to be a Sports Illustrated model.”
Last year, Chiles received an offer from SI to feature on the cover of the magazine. She shared her reaction in the same interview.
“I got the email from my publicist and I had to reread it.. and I was like, there’s no way that this is happening,” Chiles said. “This is a full circle moment… I was switching in and out of swimsuits, taking photos in the sand, in the water, doing all these crazy things, and it was just — I was happy for myself.”
Jordan Chiles will now look forward to featuring for more big name magazines while preparing for the gymnastic competitions.
