Olympic starlet Simone Biles and her husband, NFL star Jonathan Owens, just finished building their house. The process was challenging yet rewarding, as indicated by Biles’ latest Instagram story.
The gymnast took to her Instagram story and shared a video of herself and Owens near the end of the process, with her jumping in his arms. She added the following details about the home-building process as a caption sprinkled throughout the post:
“Home building requires a lot of patience. We started the design process in 2020, and after approvals took a while from the HOA, we finally broke ground in Feb 2022. It took longer than expected—they lied when they said 9 months to build—but always proud of us. Completed 11/11/25.”
Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens met in early 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic through the dating app Raya. The Olympic gold medalist made the first move, sliding into the NFL player’s DMs.
Apparently, the NFL safety didn’t know who Biles was at the time, which she found refreshing.
Simone Biles On Being Open About Cosmetic Surgery
It’s no secret that Simone Biles has undergone cosmetic procedures. She herself revealed this in a recent TikTok video, in which she mentioned that she has had three cosmetic surgeries. Speaking with People Magazine this month, she revealed why it’s so important to her to be open about these subjects, saying:
“It’s just who I am and I feel like I’ve always tried to be open, honest, and relatable.”
While she hadn’t outright confirmed it before the interview, it was pretty clear that one of the procedures was breast augmentation, and she had teased her followers with it, replying with cherry icons to questions about the subject. A more discreet procedure was her lower blepharoplasty, which was aimed at reducing the bagginess of her eyes. She also had surgery on one of her ears to fix damage she suffered in her childhood.
