Fans recently reacted to Suni Lee’s NBA Baddie theory clip, expressing their discontent with her views. After Lee’s last competitive appearance at the 2024 Paris Games, she has been making strides off the mat by appearing at multiple high-profile events, including fashion, media, and sports.
She is frequently seen attending the NBA games. Her first appearance at the NBA game was in December 2025, at a clash between the New York Knicks and the Orlando Magic. She made multiple appearances at the playoffs in April 2025, followed by the Eastern Conference Finals. After multiple courtside experiences, Lee created a video, offering her take on how to become a “Courtside Baddie.”
In the video, she stated that wearing stylish clothes and having a massive Instagram following make one a baddie. She further showed data about NBA athletes scoring more points in the presence of a baddie. Stating a list of people who are “Born to be baddies,” she added herself. Lastly, she added three things that are mandatory to become a baddie, which included being an Olympic medalist, being a Victoria’s Secret model, and having appeared on the DWTS show.
The Olympic gold medalist’s theory was not well-received by the fans. One of whom wrote:
“Former Olympic champion making this? What a fall.”
Another fan highlighted the negative effect of the clip on her reputation and wrote:
“This might end up doing more damage to her image than good lol.”

Suni Lee Claps Back At Criticism For Appearing At Victoria’s Secret Fashion Week
“Honestly, there was just a lot of people mad because I’m not tall and skinny or wasn’t a real model, but like at the end of the day, I was there and they [the critics] weren’t, so it was just really exciting. I was really happy to be there, so I wasn’t going to let anyone take my moment away from me.”
