The 2024 campaign came to a disappointing close for the Georgia Bulldogs, as they fell in the College Football Playoff quarterfinals weeks after winning the SEC title. 13 Bulldogs were drafted and a number of others signed as undrafted free agents into the NFL from the talented roster.
As the focus turns to 2025, who are the ten players who will be expected to step into big roles?

Georgia Bulldogs Top 10 Returners in 2025
10) Gunnar Stockton, QB
Stockton performed admirably well during his first start of his career against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, completing 20 of 32 passes for 234 yards and a touchdown.
A four-star recruit now entering his junior season, Stockton will assume the starting QB role from Day 1 with the departure of former starter Carson Beck. Head coach Kirby Smart is all in on Stockton, who he’s lauded for his talent, moxie and leadership in place of Beck a year ago.
9) Earnest Greene III, OT
One of the nations’ top offensive tackles in the 2022 class, Greene broke out a season ago and established himself as a key cog on the edge of the offensive line for the Bulldogs.
At 6’4″, 320 pounds, he has the frame and tools to continue to ascend as he enters another season as one of the starting tackles.
8) Oscar Delp, TE
The starting tight end in 2024, Delp played in 10 games due to injury and caught 21 passes for 248 yards and four touchdowns.
It was a slight disappointment for the No. 1 TE in the 2022 recruiting class, who was considered the Brock Bowers replacement. Delp still has all the traits and skills to become a high draft pick like Bowers, but will have to show it on the field.
7) Dillon Bell, WR
Bell, the third-leading receiver from a season ago, is expected to step up as he enters his senior season with the Bulldogs.
In 2024, he registered 43 receptions, 466 yards, and four touchdowns — including nine carries for 107 yards and an additional score, showing off his extreme versatility. Great with the ball in his hands, offensive coordinator Mike Bobo would be wise to find creative ways to force-feed the rock to Bell.
6) K.J. Bolden, Safety
Bolden surprised many as a steady contributor for the Georgia defense last season, as he totaled 59 tackles, including 40 solo, and one interception and forced fumble apiece.

Playing best as a deep safety due to his ranginess, the 6’0″, 185 pound Bolden looks to be the next great Bulldogs safety and will be relied upon to make plays and clean up messes in 2025 as the back line defender.
5) Lawson Luckie, TE
Ahead of Delp on this list, Luckie broke out while starting seven games in his absence and heads into 2025 neck-and-neck with Delp as the potential starter.
Luckie caught 24 passes for 348 yards and three touchdowns and showed himself to be a high-level route runner coupled with visible physicality and toughness. Heading into his junior season, the 6’4″, 240-pound TE will be a focal point of the offense alongside Delp.
4) Daylen Everette, CB
A toss-up in terms of whether or not he would declare for the 2025 NFL Draft, Everette’s presence will be felt next season.
As one of the starting CBs, he totaled 58 tackles, three passes defensed, a sack, two forced fumbles, and a team-leading three interceptions. Everette is a downright player on the outside and will look to continue his ways during his senior campaign.
3) Peyton Woodring, Kicker
Woodring has put together two consecutive excellent seasons to begin his college career, garnering second-team All-SEC honors in 2024.
He was nails last season, converting on 21 of 23 field goals and each of his 71 extra points. Both of his misses came from 50+ yards out, as he was 3-5 from that range. His impressive accuracy and power have been on full display and will continue to be in 2025, as he’s easily one of the most reliable players on the roster.
2) C.J. Allen, LB
Allen is right up there with Woodring, as he was extremely reliable in the middle of the defense in 2024 with 76 total tackles, good for second-best on the team.
He already was the leader of the Bulldogs defense as a sophomore and will be expected to step up even more as a junior, where his rangy and physical style of play will be invaluable.
1) Nate Frazier, RB
Contributing in a rotational role in the backfield, Frazier put together an exceptional season as just a true freshman.

Despite sharing carries with eventual 2025 draft pick Trevor Etienne, he led the Bulldogs in rushing yards with 671 yards and eight touchdowns. Now, he’ll presumably fill a feature role as Georgia’s lead RB — with his combination of size (5’10”, 210 pounds) and speed, don’t be surprised if he surpasses 1,000 rush yards and 10 touchdowns.
