Georgia Head Coach Kirby Smart Gives Update on Carson Beck’s Injury

For now, the expectation is for Beck to miss the quarterfinals of the CFP. WSB-TV’s Zach Klein shared that Georgia is still waiting for the full result of Beck’s MRI on his right elbow.

When asked about the state of Beck’s injury, Georgia head coach Kirby Smart told reporters that he knows just about as much as the rest of us do.
“I’m still trying to get that knowledge myself,” Smart began. “He did get to have an MRI this morning. We should get the results here in the next few hours. We just had a team meeting. He was there for the team meeting, but we don’t know much more than we knew last night as of right now, but we should be finding out something here soon.”
