On Sunday night in New Orleans, Nussmeier reached the top of the sport. He won the Super Bowl while coaching with Eagles. Philly defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22. The Eagles were up 34-0 at one point, and the final score made the game seem closer than it was.
Nussmeier arrived in Philadelphia for the first time in 2024. He’s formed a bond with former Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, with whom he’s served in Dallas and Los Angeles before heading to Philadelphia.
Garrett Nussmeier, Doug’s son and the LSU Tigers QB, was in the pavilion. Garrett celebrated with his father on the field after the game while dressed in a Philly Green pullover. His younger brother, Colton Nussmeier, was also in attendance.
