FOX developed Big Noon Saturday to avoid clashing with other networks’ key games, such as CBS’s SEC contests and ESPN/ABC’s primetime slots. By owning the noon window nationally, FOX created a unique and highly rated broadcast period that has consistently drawn strong viewership and become a cornerstone of college football weekends.
