Week 6 of the college football season is approaching, meaning the halfway point of the regular season is nearly here. As a result, it is starting to become clear where teams stand and which players are having good or bad seasons.
While the transfer portal will not open for a few months, speculation has already started around some top names that could be on the move. Here is a look at some top players who could enter the transfer portal after the season.

College Football Transfer Portal Tracker: Top Names Who Could Move
Caleb Flagg
While most players have not declared for the transfer portal yet, there are some exceptions. Notably, Missouri safety Caleb Flagg announced on Tuesday that he plans to enter the transfer portal. He decided previously that he plans to redshirt this season, but played in four games this season, registering four tackles and two pass breakups.

Flagg previously transferred to Missouri after playing two seasons at Houston Christian. Last year, he registered 20 total tackles, including 11 solo efforts, and a forced fumble with the Tigers.
Ryan Williams
Alabama wide receiver Ryan Williams was one of the biggest breakout freshman stars last season. He made 48 receptions for 865 yards and eight TDs. His stellar performance resulted in him being named as one of the cover athletes for EA College Football 26. While he has had some flashes of his previous self this season, he has mostly been disappointing.
In three games, Williams has just 15 receptions for 238 yards and two TDs. He also missed one game with a concussion earlier in the year.
In his three games, Williams performed well against Wisconsin, generating most of his yardage and both of his TDs. However, in his other two games, he struggled. If the slide continues, it would not be surprising if he looks for a change of scenery via the transfer portal.
Bryant Wesco Jr.
Clemson wide receiver Bryant Wesco Jr. could be a name on the move in the offseason. With the Tigers failing to meet expectations this season, Wesco has been one of the few standouts on the roster.
However, with the team struggling and quarterback Cade Klubnik out of eligibility after the season, Wesco could enter the transfer portal in the offseason.
