Florida State flexed its muscle in Week 2, delivering a dominant performance against the East Texas A&M Lions. After crushing Alabama in their season opener, Florida State went all guns blazing against the Lions, registering one of the greatest performances ever.
At halftime, Florida State had a 49-0 lead. Unfortunately for East Texas, it only went worse from there. Thomas Castellanos and co. were simply unstoppable.
The Seminoles showed their depth and discipline in the win over East Texas, getting contributions from every position to highlight a balanced offense. The defense set the tone early with key turnovers that quickly turned into points, and the offense made the most of those chances. While East Texas had a few stretches of resistance, Florida State’s talent and execution proved decisive, sealing a convincing win and building momentum for the season ahead.

Florida State left no doubt in Week 2, crushing East Texas A&M 77–3 in a one-sided affair. The Seminoles struck early and often, jumping out to a 49–0 lead by halftime before easing off the gas and letting their depth take over.
Quarterback Thomas Castellanos had an efficient day, throwing for 230 yards and three touchdowns on just 10 attempts.
The win moves Florida State to 2–0 on the year and further cements them as one of the most complete teams in college football early in the season. East Texas A&M, meanwhile, will be left searching for answers after being overpowered in every phase.
