For Florida State, Tommy Castellanos deserved a lot of credit for that opening day upset vs. the Crimson Tide and he is expected to perform well once again for the Seminoles against East Texas A&M. He trash-talked Alabama in the preseason and backed up his tough talk by completing 9 of 14 passes for 152 yards.
True freshman running back Ousmane Kromah will probably be the man he will be trying to find, as Kromah had been a secret weapon against Alabama. This time, East Texas A&M will likely expect this, but it is interesting to see how the freshman would react to the Lions’ defense given how well they pressured SMU in their opener.
For the East Texas A&M Lions, quarterback Ron Peace is expected to miss this game once again, with either Eric Rodriguez or Will Madonna starting. Both of them did not do so well against SMU, though there is still a possibility for their QB1 to return from injury.
Whoever the starting quarterback vs. Florida State will be, the main target for their passing should be running back JaiSean McMillian who had 31 rushing yards on four carries against SMU.

After beating Alabama, Florida State now finds itself as the overwhelming favorite against East Texas A&M. Despite these odds, there is still a very small chance that the Lions pull off an upset, just like what the Seminoles did to Alabama last week.

That being said, East Texas A&M is expected to lose this one by a huge margin, especially with how hot Florida State has been after that victory over Alabama.
With their QB1 probably not playing, East Texas A&M is expected to struggle offensively, while the Seminoles’ offense will likely punch holes right through the Lions’ defense.
