Both the Delaware Blue Hens and the Missouri State Bears are playing at the FBS level for the first time in 2025, and both will be featured in EA Sports College Football 26.
The game will be released on July 10, 2025, but the closed beta was released earlier this week, and fans are getting a sneak peek at what both teams look like inside of the newest EA college football video game.

Based on the helmets alone, the the Blue Hens uniforms look like they might be some of the best in the entire game. However, their overall leaves a lot to be desired. As you can see, Delaware is coming in at a 59 overall, which is 10 overall points worse than UMass, which was the worst team in EA Sports College Football 25.
While Missouri State’s helmets also look clean in-game, their overall is even worse than Delaware’s, sitting at a 54 rating as of right now.
That puts both teams squarely at the bottom of the FBS rankings within the game, making them instant fan favorites for dynasty mode rebuilds. Content creators and gamers love a challenge, and these two programs are now likely to be used early and often when the full game launches.
While all these ratings are subject to change, this is a rough start for both Delaware and Missouri State. The ratings may seem low, but you have to remember that neither one of these schools has played at the FBS level and weren’t even all that good at the FCS level.
Delaware hasn’t made it past the second round of the FCS playoffs since 2020, and their last championship appearance was in 2010. Missouri State, on the other hand, only has two FCS playoff appearances since 2000.

So, the 59 and 54 overall ratings are probably a fair place to start for both these programs in EA Sports College Football 26 and should make them the most popular teams to rebuild in the entire game.
