Lane Kiffin’s supposed three-way head coaching dilemma has now been narrowed down to two programs, as reports suggest that the Ole Miss head coach has turned down the Florida Gators.
With the Gators reportedly shifting their focus from Kiffin to other potential candidates, citing erratic behavior, Florida fans have started calling out Scott Stricklin, demanding that the Florida Athletic Director be fired after failing to land Kiffin.

“FIRE SCOTT STRICKLIN”, wrote a fan.
“No thank you! Stay away @CoachJonSumrall. Go to Auburn or stay at Tulane. Fire Scott Stricklin”, stated a fan.
“Do the right thing, fire Scott Stricklin now”, remarked a fan.
“Now that Florida’s national brand is severely damaged, the Board of Trustees will finally fire Scott Stricklin. Then we can take a swing on the next big thing in 3 years”, explained a fan.
“Fire Scott Stricklin into the sun”, wrote another fan.
“There’s literally no one out there other than kiffin worth firing Napier for. Florida looks stupid as hell, Scott Stricklin will get fired in 3-4 years when we do this all over again. What a disaster lol”, remarked another fan
Since firing Billy Napier earlier this season, the Gators have been on the hunt for a head coach, and with Kiffin now out of contention, Florida Athletic Director Scott Stricklin has demonstrated interest in bringing Tulane Green Wave Head coach, Jon Sumrall.

Jon Sumrall In LSU & Ole Miss Contention Amid Florida Links
After failing to lure Lane Kiffin to Florida, recent developments point towards Sumrall being the hottest coaching candidate the Gators could target given the current situation.
However, the task of getting the current Tulane Green Wave head coach may not be as easy as some might think, considering both LSU and Ole Miss have their eyes on Sumrall.

Kiffin, who’s supposedly going to make the final decision after Ole Miss’ Egg Bowl showdown against the Mississippi Bulldogs, could either choose to continue with Ole Miss or go to LSU.
Whatever decision Kiffin makes will have a direct impact on Sumrall’s decision-making, as he could either go to what’s left of Ole Miss or LSU, with the Gators facing the risk of being treated as a second choice or, even worse, being turned down.
