After a hot start to the 2023 season, the Florida Atlantic Owls struggled with consistency a year ago. With the full FAU 2024 Football Schedule out, they’ll hope to continue rebuilding the roster and sink their teeth into some winnable games on the docket for next season.

The Owls still need another opponent in 2024, currently sitting with just 11 opponents. Eight of those games are against AAC teams, yet — like everyone in the conference — they miss out on playing defending champion SMU as the Mustangs move to the ACC in 2024. FAU gets out of a scheduled matchup with AAC runner-up Tulane and contender Memphis this season.
They’ll also host Army as a football-only member of the AAC and avoid the trip to Michie Stadium all the same.
A trip to UTSA does loom over their conference opponents while they travel to play Temple, ECU, and Rice as well. FAU will host Charlotte, North Texas, and in-state USF to round out their conference schedule.

FAU starts the season off with a bang as the eyes of the nation will be on new head coach Jonathan Smith and his Michigan State Spartans playing host to the Owls. A hole in their schedule exists in Week 1 with no opponent before they return home for a game against rival FIU.
UConn hosts the Owls in Week 4 before conference play kicks off for FAU in 2024. Depending on their final scheduled opponent, it’s potentially a very winnable start to the year for FAU.
