Week 2 of the 2025 NFL season is shaping up with balanced matchups and favorable weather that could be the difference in your fantasy league. The kicker position could be the difference between a three-point win and a five-point loss. Here are your essentials for Week 2 fantasy kickers.

Must Start
1. Brandon Aubrey (DAL)
Aubrey is at home in Arlington and should have plenty of opportunities in an indoor stadium. He’s ranked highly on FantasyPros as the number one kicker for Week 2.
2. Evan McPherson (CIN)
Bengals face a high-total game projected at 49.5. That should be plenty of chances for McPherson to get the Bengals on the board after a shaky second-half performance against the Browns in Week 1.
3. Harrison Butker (KC)
The Chiefs are in a scoring environment against Philadelphia with the total at 47. The Eagles’ defense was able to force the Cowboys into two field goals in Week 1, and there are still questions with Patrick Mahomes and the offense for the Chiefs.
4. Matt Prater (BUF)
Reliable leg in reasonable weather at New York. Prater should be a safer play after his huge first week with the Bills.
Hidden Gems
1. Tyler Loop (BAL)
Strong Week 1 usage and the Ravens offense shows no signs of slowing down. Plenty of opportunity for the young kicker to get points on the board.
2. Chad Ryland (ARI)
Ryland was able to capitalize on the Cardinals’ sloppy win in New Orleans and draws San Francisco this week. Based on Week 1, Ryland could be a viable play as a stronger defense could force more field goals.
3. Spencer Shrader (IND)
Shrader finished as a top fantasy-scoring kicker in Week 1. If available in your league, he’s easily a potential starter as long as the Colts are playing well.
4. Cam Little (JAX)
Rookie connected well in Week 1 scoring as the seventh best kicker. The Jaguars‘ offense still needs to figure some things out, leading to a great position for Little.
Bottom Line
Week 2 features kickers that have potential for shootouts and favorable matchups. Stick with Aubrey, McPherson, Butker, and Prater as top starters because of their consistency. Although if depth is needed, Loop, Ryland, Shrader, and Little all look like potential options that could be huge down the stretch.
