The Miami Dolphins stumbled out of the gate in their matchup with the Indianapolis Colts, and it started with a costly turnover. On Miami’s second drive of the night, Tua Tagovailoa targeted Tyreek Hill downfield but let the ball sail high.
New Colts safety Cam Bynum read the play perfectly, cutting under the route for an interception with just over eight minutes left in the first quarter. The takeaway proved to be a turning point early on. At halftime, the Colts were up 20-0.
The failed play from Tagovailoa was a sore sight for the fans. Responding to a clip of the play posted by Ari Meirov on X, fans started asking the coaches to change their quarterback. The replacement for Tagovailoa, as per the fans, should be Quinn Ewers.
Miami had announced that Ewers will be inactive and will work as the Dolphins’ emergency third quarterback on Sunday against the Colts. The announcement didn’t come as a surprise considering the options the Dolphins had, but fans have now started to demand a change in order.
“Please just put Quinn Ewers in the game already,” a fan WROTE.

“Quinn Ewers time,” a fan wrote.
“Dolphins gona crumble this year, I can feel it,” a fan wrote.
“Tua’s pass was off, and Cam Bynum capitalized with the interception!” a fan wrote.
“Not a good start,” a fan wrote.
“How many games does he have to play before the coach can see that he sucks…” a fan wrote.
The fans have made it clear that they don’t wish to see important plays being fumbled by the players on the field. If all it takes is a change in rotation, then it might not be the worst idea to at least give it a try.

Cam Bynum’s Celebration After the Interception was Something to Marvel At
Indianapolis was already up 3–0 thanks to a Spencer Shrader field goal, and the interception allowed them to seize momentum fully. By halftime, the Colts had built a commanding 20–0 lead.
Bynum’s interception wasn’t just about the change of possession. The safety marked his arrival in Indianapolis with a celebration that immediately caught attention. After the play, he broke into an animated, movie-style dance routine that quickly made the rounds on social media.

It was a flashy statement in a game where his defense was already dictating the pace. If the Dolphins are to mount any kind of comeback, they’ll need sharper execution from Tagovailoa and fewer giveaways. For now, though, the night belongs to the Colts.
