‘Arch Manning Running Him out of Town’: Fans Abuzz As Steve Sarkisian Allegedly Shows Interest in $6.3 Billion Worth AFC Champs Amid NFL Coaching Rumors

NFL Senior Insider Dianna Russini recently reported that representatives for Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian have been actively reaching out to NFL decision-makers. He signaled his interest in potential head coaching vacancies, with the Tennessee Titans appearing to be at the top of his wishlist.

Fans while reacting to Sarkisian’s potential move to the $6.3 billion worth franchise, as per Forbes, had this to say on X:

“Arch Manning running him out of town,” a fan said.

“Bro said Arch is so bad it’s gonna cost me my job next year,” a fan remarked.

“What one season of arch manning football does to a man,” another fan added.

“Dude can’t even get Texas in a great spot for success… who in their right mind thinks he would be a good NFL fit?” a fan said.

“Texas is a better job than working for that disaster of a franchise in Nashville,” a fan commented.

“Can’t be true. Texas job > Titans’ job. Plus didn’t he just sign an extension?” a fan asked.

“What play calling this year at Texas has made him appealing to NFL jobs,” a fan commented.

Meanwhile, Sarkisian just signed a massive contract extension in February that runs through 2031, a deal that on paper cemented his long-term commitment to the program and yet there are reports of him gauging a potential move to the NFL.

Steve Sarkisian and Texas Longhorns Sit at 5-2 Amid High Expectations

The Texas Longhorns currently sit at 5-2 with a 2-1 record amongst SEC teams, which sounds respectable until you consider the expectations that came with this roster. The Longhorns entered the season with playoff aspirations and the highly-touted Arch Manning.

Sarkisian’s overall record at Texas stands at 43-19, which includes back-to-back seasons with more than 12 wins and consecutive playoff appearances. It will be interesting to see if Sarkisian makes the move to the Titans.

Meanwhile, the Texas Longhorns are set to face the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Saturday at Davis Wade Stadium.
